With strong oxidizing power, Ozone(O3) is widely used for deodorization, sterilization of air, the degradation of aromatic organics, especially the disinfection of medical equipment. However, a small amount of ozone (0.1 to 1 ppm) can cause dizziness, eye discomfort, and sore throat symptoms. The World Health Organization has formulated a safety standard for O3: the maximum allowable concentration in an 8-hour working environment should be less than 0.016 ppm. The remaining O3 discharged into the air during the process will cause environmental pollution.
 
The high-efficiency ozone catalytic decomposition catalyst developed by Hunan Xintan can decompose high-concentration ozone into oxygen at room temperature, and the maximum treatment concentration can reach 90mg/L.It can be applied to the atomic cabin, radio, supersonic passenger cabin, copier, household appliances and other aspects or occasions, especially suitable for the treatment of ultra-high concentration ozone exhaust of medical equipment. Because it doesn't contain activated carbon, it is safer when decomposing high concentrations of ozone.
