Alumina Ceramic Foam Filters are mainly used for filtration of aluminium and aluminium alloys in foundries and cast houses. Aluminum Ceramic Foam Filters have the advantages of high porosity, Good thermal shock resistance, High mechanical strength, large specific surface area, good chemical stability and good filtering effected.
Alumina(Al2O3) Ceramic Foam Filters have excellent resistance to attack and corrosion from molten aluminum, they can effectively remove inclusions, reduce trapped gas and provide laminar flow, and then the filtered metal is significantly cleaner. Cleaner metal results in higher-quality castings, less scrap, and fewer inclusion defects, all of which contribute to bottom-line profit.
Typical characteristics include:
a) Pure White Color
b) Application Temperature: <=1,100oC
c) Al2O3 Content: >=80%
d) Typically used in Molten Aluminum and Alloy Filtering
e) Pore Size: 10 - 60 PPI
f) Tolerance :+0.5 / -1.5mm
g) Shapes: Round ,square ,rectangular and meet customer requirements
h) The size are available in square, round and custom geometric shapes; sizes ranging from 40mm up to 600mm, and thicknesses from 11-50mm. The most common porosities are 10ppi, 15ppi, 20ppi, 25ppi. Higher porosities are available upon request. Custom-made cut-to-size filters are also possible.

Packaging & Delivery
- Inside packing: Filters are put in small box and Layered packaging. There is cardboard between each layer.
- Outside packing: Cartons&Pallets. Three layer corrugated cartons and export special pallets .
- The mark on cartons can be designed according to the customer's request.
- The filters can only be stored in covered and dry storage rooms.
